Donald Trump and his Make America Great Again (MAGA) followers have been attacking Blue States endlessly for months about them supporting transgender athletes competing in sports and then they turned around and forced a teenage girl from Cornish, New Hampshire, to identify as a Maine resident so she could represent Maine at the Patriot Games held in Geneva, Ohio.
Rebekah Roberts is a teenage girl from Cornish, New Hampshire, who teamed up with Liam Jones, from Lewiston, Maine, to represent Maine in the Patriot Games.
So we’ve now learned that Trump and MAGA think it is essentially cheating for a man to be allowed to identify as a woman to compete against women in women’s sports but it is perfectly okay to change a person’s residency or nationality to alter how they compete at sporting events.
