Donald Trump has acknowledged that the contractor responsible for painting the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, American Flag Blue, may have made a mistake in attempting to open the pool for the July 4th celebrations.
Donald Trump was the person that insisted the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was to be open by July 4th so that is definitely Trump who gets the full blame on that one even thought it sounds like he is trying to pass that blame onto the contactor.
Donald Trump has again asserted that significant damage was allegedly caused by vandals. However, there is no substantiated evidence of any vandalism other than an alleged witness report from a National Park Service employee, which is not being disclosed.
Attorney Jeanine Pirro recently dropped criminal charges against Olympic swimmer, David Hearn, due to a lack of evidence against Hearn, but also due to *new evidence* that damage done to the pool was the result of mistakes made by the company that did the work, Atlantic Industrial Coatings.
Donald Trump originally denied that Atlantic Industrial Coatings had applied some the paint wrong and appeared angry with Jeanine when news agencies picked up on the news that charges against Hearn had been dropped, in part, due to evidence that Atlantic Industrial Coatings had messed up.
PLEASE NOTE: I said *new evidence* in the article because there was allegedly no prior evidence or suspicion that Atlantic Industrial Solutions may have screwed up while painting the pool. Donald Trump has made numerous accusations about people cutting the indestructible paint with box cutters or accused people of dumping fertilizer into the water. Many of us have always known there was more to the story but Trump always stated that the damage was caused by vandalism.
